Paul Johnson - Every Kinda People (1986)London based singer originally sang with the group Paradise before CBS signed him as a solo artist in 1987. He had worked with producers including Junior on song 'Half A World Away' while his first UK chart success came with 'When Love Comes Calling' (1987).
In 1988 he recorded a duet 'Words into Action' with Mica Paris on her album So Good, while his later singles have included Don't Make Me Wait Too Long' (1990). His cousin Chris Johnson is a top recording engineer who was once a member of the Biddu Orchestra and fronted the UK soul band Breeze. - Ralph Tee
