Gene Chandler - Nothing Can Stop Me (1966)
When I see the footage that we've got and wonder what must have been lost over the years it makes me kind of sad.
Still enjoy what we have and that's all we can do. Most things that were kept from the early days of TV were made via cine cameras, basically a black and white monitor with a cine camera pointing at it. Video recorders were quite expensive and new tech. There was the odd piece made for cine-jukebox's - the most famous being the Exciters colour footage at the zoo. I've restored the sound on this clip to stereo.
