Fred Hughes - Ooh Wee Baby I Love You (1965)Fred Hughes was an R&B singer from Arkansas. Hughes recorded for Vee-Jay Records in the 1960s before its demise, scoring a hit in 1965 with the singles "Oo Wee Baby, I Love You" (a Top 20 R&B hit and #23 Pop) and "You Can't Take it Away" (another Top 20 R&B hit, #96 pop).
When he signed to Brundwick his single Baby Boy was a monster hit with UK northern soul clowds. His 1971 album 'Baby Boy' didn't do so well and contained poor remake of Ooh We Baby I Love You.
