Central Line were a pop and jazz-funk group based out of London, England. They recorded several albums for Mercury Records in the 1980s and had two hits in the United States, as well as one in their native country.

Their song Squarepusher is one of the most sampled songs in electronic music history. The drumlines in Squarepusher could almost be described as the official drumline of Drum -n- Bass (Jungle). Camelle Hinds had an album with Expansions in the late 90's.
